The Foolish Wolf

One day a boy was walking through the forest. Suddenly a wolf appeared and jumped towards him and the boy said, “Please don't eat me”.

The wolf said “OK but I am still hungry”.

The boy thought a good idea how to escape from this wolf.

The boy said, “I will help you to find food. There is a den near by if you go to the den you can eat what you want.”

The wolf said, “OK”.

The wolf and the boy went to the den and some time later they reached the den. The wolf went into the den with his hungry stomach. The den was full of lions and lionesses. They killed the wolf.

The boy returned home happily.

My Story

My Story

My name is Anurenj K. Emmanuel. I am studying in 4^th standard. My school's name is St. Antony's Public School. I am living with my parents - Anuroop K. Jose and Renjumol Joseph.

My story is how my left hand was broken.

One day when I was playing with my friends in the evening my friend Nikhil pushed me from my back. I fell down and my left hand broke and suddenly my father and Shinto sir suddenly took me to the doctor. The doctor advised us to go to Matha Hospital and we got admitted for 3 days and we came back to my mother's house. On 7^th August we will go to the Matha hospital for further check up.

The Wise Sparrow

Once there was a sparrow named Shambu. He was very clever.

One day he and his friends were sitting on the top of a tree. They saw one man trapping a nest to save his corn and the sparrow said. “Everyone come on. Let's go home or the man will catch us”. Shambu flew to his home.

All of them did not obey the words of Shambu. Suddenly the man trapped Shambu's friends.

Then all of them thought that if they had obeyed the words of Shambu they would not have been trapped....

The Lion and the Wise Rabbit

Once there was a ferocious lion in a forest. Everyday he ate two African buffaloes. One day a rabbit came to that forest. The rabbit knew the condition of the animals. And the next day he started thinking how to escape from the lion's slavery and then he got an idea.

The rabbit went into the den of the lion. Lion saw the rabbit. He suddenly ran towards him and said “Who are you?”.

The rabbit said, “Sir, there is an another lion in the well.” The lion got angry. He asked, “Where is the lion ? I want to see him. Take me to the well.”

The rabbit and the lion ran to the well and the lion looked into the well and roared. The other lion was his shadow. The lion got more and more angry. He jumped into the well and the lion died.

The rabbit happily jumped and ran to the animals and said, “Hey everyone, the lion is dead.”

All the animals gave him a great clap.

The Desert Walk

Once there was a deer. One day he was walking around the border of a desert. He saw a camel walking around. The camel said, “Hello, can you be a friend of mine?”

The deer said, “I don't like a friend like you.”

The camel said, “OK. So let's race around the desert and see who will win the race.”

The deer agreed and the race began.

The deer's small legs did not grip on the ground and the large legs of the camel gripped on the ground and the camel won the game.

And the camel said, “One more time I ask you. Are you going to be a friend of mine ?”

The deer said, “Yes.”

And the camel and the deer became good friends.

A Daughter’s Love

King Lear was the king of England. He ruled his kingdom with his three daughters. His three daughters were Goneril, Regan and Cordelia. King Lear was getting old and he decided to share his kingdom with his three daughters.

One day King Lear called all his daughters and said, “Now tell me dears how much do you love me?”. Goneril said, “Sir you are my eyesight. No child has loved more than I love you”. Regan said, “I love you so much”. King Lear said, “Now it's your chance Cordelia to share your love”. Cordelia was very honest. She said, “I love you as I should neither more nor less”. King Lear said, “If this is the truth you will get nothing from me. “My Lord you are my father you have care for me”. Cordelia said. King Lear said, “You are no longer a child of mine. I disown your share between Goneril and Regan.

The king of France was in the court. He knew that Cordelia was honest. He wished to marry her. As he had thought he married her and made Cordelia the queen of France. Before going from England she told her two sisters to take care of her father and they both became the queens of England.

They did not take care of their father. To rescue King Lear from his daughters war began between England and France. All the people of France and England were fighting. Cordelia cannot enter England any more. She thought to enter England and rescue her father. France was defeated by England and the queen of France, Cordelia, was imprisoned. She was surprised to meet her father King Lear in the jail. He said, “Don't laugh at me young lady. Perhaps I am foolish but you look like my daughter Cordelia”.

“Yes father! I am...I am your Cordelia. I very happy to see you” She said.

“I am so sorry”, Lear said.

A Lesson for a Fool

Once there was a potter. He had a foolish donkey called Damboo. One day a crow named Munna saw Damboo. Munna thought that Damboo was a fool. Munna thought to have some fun. He told Damboo “Damboo you haven't any brain. If you want to get some brain you should walk on two legs like me”. Foolish Damboo obeyed the words of Munna and the next day the potter put pots on his back. He tried to stand and walk on two legs.

CRASH!

All the pots fell down to the ground. He got a good beating.
